Shape History works with partners – charities, brands, NGOs and more – to tackle some of the biggest issues facing humanity today. From Climate Change to Gender Equality to Digital Health to Human rights and much more. 

If you’re an erupting volcano of ideas looking to tackle these issues, itching to be an innovator in our team of next-level talented creatives then we want to talk to you. We’re looking for individuals who have a passion for creative copywriting wanting to flex those skills for issue areas they’re passionate about. 

This role is full time, with at least 2 days in our London office, reporting to our Creative Director. 

We’re a full-service, social impact communications agency based in London. We work with partners all over the world – think charities, businesses, UN groups, academic brains, and big-hearted folks – to literally ‘Shape History’. 

  • Lead the development of creative concepts and deliver compelling ideas across all platforms for project briefs and new business pitches.
  • Interpret creative briefs to develop cohesive campaign concepts, including narrative, verbal, and visual identities.
  • Establish narrative direction, style, and tone for concepts and communications to align with brand and impact goals.
  • Leverage expertise in persuasive writing and consumer behaviour insights to craft messaging that drives engagement and conversions.
  • Create high-quality written content for marketing campaigns, blogs, websites, social media, and video content.
  • Ensure materials are clear, concise, and persuasive to effectively bring the creative strategy to life.
  • Oversee the integration of creative concepts throughout the development process, focusing on impactful copywriting – from campaign names to film scripts and social media copy.
  • Collaborate closely with design, account teams, and external partners throughout all stages of the creative process, from brainstorming to final execution.
  • Present creative ideas and concepts to partners and stakeholders, contributing to the development of pitch materials and presentations.
  • Pitch ideas to prospective partners, driving engagement in new business opportunities.
  • Stay on top of industry trends and insights by monitoring business developments and consulting external resources like industry gurus.

  • Effective communication which is clear, concise, informative and friendly. You’ll be great at communicating creative concepts to partners and confident in pitching your ideas. 
  • Entrepreneurialism: Ability to work independently or with a team to meet deadlines
  • Organisation:  You’re comfortable working on different things at once

  • Can you demonstrate skills in art direction and design? And have skills in Adobe CC to visualise your ideas?
  • Or sector-specific knowledge in the social impact/sustainability/charity/political sector?
  • Oh, you speak another language
  • Any and all of these things would be the icing on the cake.

Salary range: Base salary of 40,000-50,000 + yearly discretionary personal and company bonus
