Campaigns Director

Required Skills:

  • All round creative individual with a flair for using their work to promote positive and social change.
  • A meticulous eye for detail.
  • Inspiring experience in impact-lead campaign strategy, creative storytelling and theory of change development, with proven real-world results.
  • Feels comfortable leading various members of a team.
  • Leading brainstorms and confidence in ideation of ideas.
  • Dissecting a brief to respond to new business requests for proposals
  • A campaigner mindset – someone who can demonstrate passion for specific causes.
  • Comfortable working under both time and volume pressures.  
  • Very good organisational skills and understands how to balance multiple projects at once.
  • Audience mapping and research insights development.
  • Knowledge of social media / storytelling / content trends.
  • Strong experience with problem solving and managing clients from a top level perspective.

Bonus Skills

  • Using scripts, storyboards and production documents as reference resources for post-production.
  • Experience of data wrangling.
  • Experience with Animation (either 2D or 3D) in After Effects / Cinema 4D or similar.
  • Experience with video editing and design.

Shape History, a social change agency communications working with The Prince’s Trust, United Nations, Macmillan Cancer Support and the NHS to name a few, is looking for a talented and organised Campaigns Director – to lead our teams in the UK. This is a position perfect for a candidate with 5 years experience looking for their next step in leading a team, with a firm interest across both campaign strategy and creative storytelling.

Closing Date:​  ongoing 2019

Day to day work:

  • Leading creative brainstorms with the creative team.
  • Leading storytelling development for campaign narrative and content.
  • Leading the construction of campaign strategy; including theory of change, tactics for campaign engagement.
  • Problem solving with your team, answering any queries that may arise.
  • Inspiring an environment of creative activism within the London team.

Junior Campaigns Strategist

Required Skills:

  • A confident, organised project manager, with a meticulous eye for detail.
  • A campaigner mindset – someone who can demonstrate passion for specific causes.
  • Research and analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A fantastic collaborator.  
  • A strong storyteller and creative professional who can advise on solutions for content.
  • Comfortable working under both time and volume pressures.  
  • Proven, good written skills.
  • An interest in behavioural change strategic campaigns.

Bonus Skills

  • Knowledge of Adobe suite.
  • Experience with managing social media channels, including building paid advertising content.
  • Agency background or knowledge.
  • Portuguese speaking.
  • Swahili speaking.

Shape History, a social change agency working with United Nations, Macmillan Cancer Support and the NHS to name a few, is looking for a talented and organised Campaigns Strategist. This is a position perfect for a candidate with 1-2 years experience looking for their next step.

Closing Date:​  Friday 1st March, 6pm GMT

Day to day work:

  • Working closely with the Strategy Lead, you will lead on day-to-day project management with range of fantastic partner organisations, communicating with them on a daily basis.
  • Supporting with one of our largest partners on a behavioural change campaign surrounding protesting and human rights.
  • Conduct research (digital and offline) for partners and presenting this as required.
  • Write communications and/or digital strategy documents and/or reports.  
  • Work closely with our designers, web developers and videographers, ensuring that all creative feedback is implemented in our work, and guiding them where necessary.
  • Build and amend project timelines and managing budgets for certain projects.
  • Advise partners on strategic communication, with guidance from our Strategy Lead.
  • Manage partner social media channels, including creating content calendars,  posting content, and boosting content using paid promotion where necessary.
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the strategy team, and partner teams, to support and make the most out content and platforms available.

Salary: 

£20-£24k depending on experience

Junior Video Editor/Content Creator

Required skills:

  • All round creative individuals with a flair for using their work to promote positive and social change.
  • A meticulous eye for detail.
  • Very good experience of video editing, text animation and also a light graphic design.
  • Working with the Adobe CC suite esp. Premiere, After Effects and Photoshop.
  • Understanding of story, narrative structures and constructing narrative from archive or documentary footage.
  • A campaigner mindset – someone who can demonstrate passion for specific causes.
  • Comfortable working under both time and volume pressures.  
  • Very good organisational skills and understands how to balance multiple projects at once.

Bonus skills:

  • Using scripts, storyboards and production documents as reference resources for post-production.
  • Experience of data wrangling.
  • Experience with Animation (either 2D or 3D) in After Effects / Cinema 4D or similar.
  • Colour grading.
  • Basic sound mixing.
  • Understanding of distribution platforms and the associated technical specifications for each.
  • Lower 3rds / titles / graphics, knowledge of the Adobe CC suite.

Shape History, a social change agency working with United Nations, Macmillan Cancer Support and the NHS to name a few, is looking for a talented and organised Junior Part Time Editor, with preferable design skills. This is a position perfect for a candidate with 1-2 years experience looking for their next step. 

Closing Date:​  Friday 1st March at 6pm GMT

Day to day work:

  • Supporting the Production Lead with day to day creative tasks.
  • Supporting brainstorms with the campaigns team to inspire new ideas to fuel social change using film, video and design.
  • Editing a multitude of videos in Adobe Premiere.
  • Minimal Text and Icon animation in Adobe After Effects.

Salary: 

£22-24K per annum, depending on experience
