Summary: Shape History was commissioned by the UN’s International Labour Organisation (ILO) to design their report, titled A Quantum Leap for Gender Equality, for International Women’s Day 2019. This report is a culmination of 5 years of research and establishes the key barriers and solutions to workplace gender equality. It calls on all levels of society, from the supranational to the individual, to urgently address inequality.
Emote: We designed a modern, eye-catching report to encourage readers from all backgrounds to engage with ILO’s vital research.
Educate: Within the report itself, we created illustrations that captured key report messages that could be easily digested and shared.
Action: An executive summary and the full report can be viewed and shared online.
Result: An event at which Yalitza Aparicio of Oscar-winning Roma gave the keynote speech that launched the report. We also reached out to hundreds of micro-influencers from around the world to spread the report’s message with their followers.
