Engagements

WHO Africa
Project:  HIV Prevention Cause:  Global Healthcare Deliverables: Purpose Advertising & Campaigns, Research & Strategy

Together with the WHO Regional Office for Africa we designed The Tea On HIV, a campaign to increase awareness and challenge the stigma associated with HIV amongst young people.

Challenge

Young people in Africa are often unaware of the enormous spread of HIV, how it is transmitted, and how it can be treated. How can we raise awareness of the issue and get them more engaged?

Utopia

To reach up to one million young Africans in Kenya and Cameroon about HIV to challenge stigma and educate them about important aspects of the disease such as treatment.

Solution

We developed and launched a socially conscious campaign by creating a campaign brand with social media content including an interactive website to challenge the stigma and educate young people on HIV.
